Check this page often for updated listings of all types of cycling events in and around our area.  If you have rides or events you would like added, please e-mail us.  We will make all reasonable accommodations to add rides and events.   Rides require, at minimum, an appropriate bike in good working order, water, and a helmet. We suggest a spare tube, energy food, maybe a little cash in case we stop, and your biggest smile! Many rides are held subject to weather (although we do ride in the heat). It's a good idea to confirm dates, time and any specific requirements, too. We'll see you out there - and have fun!

Weekly Group Rides

Join us and other bike clubs on one of these fun rides.  Our Saturday morning ride is group friendly.  We focus on three specific groups, but if you have never ridden with a group or need special attention, we will be more than willing to accommodate.  It is intimidating to ride in large groups when you first start off, so if you need assistance or a refresher we will be sure to help.  Our goal is to make your ride as enjoyable as possible.

"All store rides are designed to promote the enjoyment of cycling in a friendly group atmosphere."

In-Store Clinics and Workshops

We're pleased to provide this great hands-on program for learning bicycle maintenance and repair.

Classes are normally held the 3rd Thursday night at 6:00pm at our store.  The clinics generally last one hour.   Advanced registration for the classes is appreciated so we can properly prepare.  You can do so online or by calling the shop.  For further information, see our maintenance clinic section

Ride and Event Disclaimer

Our goal is to make every ride as enjoyable and safe as possible.  However, we cannot guarantee anybody’s safety.  We rely on all riders to use proper riding techniques and if you are unsure of proper etiquette or proper technique please ask.  We are here to help.  There are unknown and unforeseen potential hazards in every ride so we do expect all riders to pay attention and take reasonable precautions.  Helmets are required.  If you choose to listen to music during rides we request you only use the headset in the right ear and keep the headset out of the left ear.  Communication is essential during all rides and having the ability to hear is a part of your responsibility to others.  Please also ride within your limitations.  We are not racing the Tour de France.  If we see that you are not riding within your limitations or are becoming a hazard to others we will bring this to your attention  We do this for your and everybody’s safety.

Also, it is everybody’s responsibility to follow all traffic laws.  We are not lemmings.  Just because somebody does something foolish does not mean you need to follow.  Use your head and enjoy your ride.

WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY ACCIDENT OR INJURY THAT OCCURS ON OUR RIDE.  EVERY PERSON IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF OTHERS AROUND THEM. (The lawyer in Andy made him highlight this).
