Tour de France

The Tour de France which generally begins the first week of July started in 1903 and is the mother of all stage races.  It consists of 21 day-long stages over twenty three days and covers over two thousand epic miles of racing.




Giro d'Italia

The Giro is usually held during late May and early June. The format of the race stays roughly the same, with the appearance of at least two time trials, a passage through the Alps, including the Dolomites, and the finish in the city of Milan.


Vuelta a España

The third of cycling's prestigious three week Grand Tours begins at the end of August.  The race also generally has of at least two time trials and passes through the mountain chain of the Pyrenees with a finish in the Spanish capital Madrid
